Kforce's client in the Cedar Rapids, IA area is looking for an Assistant Controller. This role will Drive the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. The Assistant Controller will coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare & validate necessary information for closing entries. for e.g. Inventory adjustments, Payroll, Commissions, Month end accruals etc. This role reports to the Corporate Controller.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred
  • Background in managing full-cycle accounting operations and month-end closing
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, Public Accounting experience desired
  • Construction Accounting (POC) experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, and US accounting standards and regulations to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, growing entrepreneurial or private equity-backed environment
  • Working Conditions: In Office
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
