Our client in Roseville, MI is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer will perform various tasks to support operations across different departments. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites or work areas.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and always use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform routine physical labor such as lifting, moving, digging, or assembling.
- Assist skilled tradespeople as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents immediately.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a labor or construction role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Full-time, may include weekends or overtime.
- Work performed indoors or outdoors depending on the assignment.
- May be exposed to loud noise, dust, and heavy machinery.
