Analyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test casesPerform manual testing of web, mobile, and backend/API applicationsCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issuesLog, track, and manage defects through JIRA or similar toolsConduct functional, regression, integration, and system testingParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-upsPrepare test summary reports and support UAT and production validationOptionally contribute to automation test scripting using tools like Selenium, Postman, or similarRequired Skills & Qualifications:
8–10 years of hands-on experience in functional testingStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practicesExperience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, TestRail, JIRA, Zephyr)Solid experience in writing test cases, test execution, and defect lifecycle managementGood knowledge of SQL for backend validationBasic understanding of API testing (Postman/SoapUI)Strong analytical and communication skillsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExposure to banking/finance, healthcare, or similar domains is a plus
