- Strengthen and improve safety in the workplace through compliance with rules and regulations, safety, inspections, and training. Ensure environmental compliance through proper knowledge and enforcement of procedures and requirements. Maintain good housekeeping standards and expectations.
- Effectively encourage new and innovative ways of thinking.
- Schedule maintenance work into production plan. Collaborate with maintenance supervision to schedule manpower and resources for the most effective and efficient production and maintenance outcomes.
- Purchase all necessary parts, equipment, and services to perform the maintenance work. Maintain appropriate documentation.
- Complete root cause failure analysis through investigation and leadership of the process.
- Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment.
- Area expert on CMMS software and trains others in the area on proper use of CMMS.
- Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair/preventative/predictive/design-out activities on the organization’s plant and equipment.
- Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance, planning and scheduling.
- Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Post-secondary degree from a 2-year technical school or a 4-year college/university – desired
- 10+ Years’ experience in facilities maintenance/planning
- JDE experience desired
- Effective communication through written and verbal communication
- Microsoft Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
- High level of attention to detail
- Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment and promote a positive work environment
- Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task and have strong time management skills.
- Solid understanding of equipment reliability concepts
- Experience with quality management methods and practices related to plant and equipment reliability.
