Salary: $101,171 $136,593 + $10K Sign-On Bonus + Relocation PackageAbout the RoleWe are actively seeking an experienced Director of Labor and Delivery / Womens Services for a full-time onsite leadership role in Hickory, North Carolina an easy commute from the Charlotte metro area. This opportunity is ideal for nursing leaders in Charlotte seeking career advancement in a high-impact hospital leadership role without the congestion and cost of a major city.The Director will oversee Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery/NICU units at a 355-bed regional medical center. Youll serve as a key clinical and operational leader, accountable for care quality, staffing, patient experience, budget oversight, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 24/7 oversight of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and NICUManage staffing, training, scheduling, and development of nursing staffImplement and improve protocols for patient safety, quality, and satisfactionLead strategic initiatives and set departmental performance goalsMonitor and manage budgets, audits, and regulatory complianceServe as liaison with executive leadership and interdisciplinary teamsMay provide direct care if neededQualificationsMust-HaveCurrent NC RN licenseBachelors degree (BSN preferred)BLS certificationNeonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certificationMinimum 5 years RN experienceNice-to-HaveMasters degree (Healthcare Admin, Nursing, etc.)2+ years management/leadership experience in womens healthKnowledge of NICU, OB/GYN services, and clinical compliance standardsStrong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skillsCompensation & Perks$10,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid over 2 years)$5,000 Relocation Package️ Generous PTOMedical, Dental, Vision, HSA401(k) with matchingLife & Disability + Employee Assistance Programs️ Travel & Entertainment PerksAbout the FacilityThis position is located at a 355-bed acute care hospital with an additional 81-bed behavioral health facility in Hickory, NC, one of the most livable small cities in the Southeast.
