
Mobile Maintenace Technician

2. Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on large mining equipment with complex mechanical, hydraulic or electrical issues in both the shop and field environments.
3. Advanced proficiency in Cat SIS 2.0 and ET (electronic technician) navigation.
5. Advanced ability to analyze and apply information from schematics, service manuals and other forms of equipment service information.
6. Proven ability to mentor and guide technicians through advanced troubleshooting methods, promoting knowledge transfer and best practices.
7. Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management.
8. Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance.
9. Punctuality and regular attendance required.
10. Returns well-documented and accurately completed work orders and service reports.
11. Must be able to recognize potential problems.
12. Works without risk or harm to self and others.
13. Performs other related functions as assigned by general supervisor.Education and Experience1. 7-10 years of heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
2. Advanced troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
3. Trained in advanced failure analysis process.
4. Must be willing to work overtime on short notice.
5. Diesel technician certificate or AA is preferred.
6. Ability to operate various equipment including forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers and service trucks.
7. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
8. General understanding of mining operations, as well as limited understanding of milling and maintenance operations.
9. Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
10. Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
11. Ability to work independently and also as a member of the management team.
12. Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills.
13. Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis.
14. Requires valid driver's license.Reporting Relationships
- Works under the direct supervision of the Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor.
