- Serve as the primary point of contact between Army units, vendors, and logistics providers.
- Coordinate the procurement, distribution, and delivery of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
- Track shipments and ensure timely deliveries while resolving any supply chain disruptions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to assess supply needs and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Monitor product recalls, expiration dates, and quality control standards for all medical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including FDA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding logistics procedures and inventory management.
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Support emergency response planning by ensuring the availability of critical medical supplies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- 2-5 years in medical logistics, supply chain management, or a related field within the healthcare industry. Strong knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and logistics tracking tools.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with emergency response logistics and medical supply chain challenges is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active secret security clearance.
