Krauss Company has immediate openings for HVAC Entry Level PM Technicians.About us:Krauss Company, serving the Pinellas and Hillsborough areas since 1924, is a progressive, growth-oriented company seeking an Entry Level Maintenance technician to service the Commercial sector (non-residential).OBJECTIVES:The essential function of the HVAC Maintenance Technician is to serve the customers of Krauss Company by providing general HVAC tune & clean repair and services with an emphasis on quality work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes. This position handles calls to commercial and industrial businesses. The candidate must be able to work with suppliers, co-worker technicians to ensure quality performance, while abiding by all codes. A candidate for this position must be willing to pursue, develop and participate in continuing education. Educational sponsorship available for qualified apprentice candidates.Job requirements:
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Attend required department meetings.
  • Attend company or vendor training as required
  • Maintain any necessary licenses or certifications which may apply.
  • exhibit professional conduct at all times.
  • Must be able to climb on ladders to access roof top units
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Must be efficient and organized.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Very genuine and personable a must.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year minimum as an HVAC apprentice, helper or similar capacity.
  • Must have EPA license.
  • Must have own basic tools used for HVAC tuning and cleaning.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of math
  • Able to frequently stand; walk; use hand-tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be 18 years old with a current drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background and substance abuse screening prior to employment
