Security Service Technician

- Install and service security related infrastructure- including access control and surveillance.
- Troubleshoot and repair physical security equipment.
- Assist in commissioning and startup of new systems to ensure proper operation.
- Provide emergency and warranty service as required.
- Communicate with customers on job status or completion (installation or service).
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Complete and turn in all required paperwork in a timely manner according to established procedures and deadlines, i.e., time sheets, expense reports, change orders, equipment transfers, etc.
- Maintain and control assigned truck stock inventory in an organized manner.
- Minimum 2 years security/access control experience.
- Ability to install, operate, and service security equipment and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of security procedures related to surveillance and access control equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend security systems drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Manufacturer certifications is a plus.
- Knowledge of Brivo, Eagle Eye, Lenel, Open Options, Software House, Avigilon, Hanwa, and Wave preferred.
- Ability to program a plus.
- Ability to work and think independently and ensure deadlines are met.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and collaborate with all levels.
- Possess a positive attitude with exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills both written and orally.
- Clear driving record and provide proof of insurance.
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
- OSHA 10 and Texas Security License required.
