
Civil Engineer, Airport Infrastructure

- Develop contract documentation, including plans, specs, resource needs, and cost estimation.
- Provide project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze surveys, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, and additional geologic and topographical data for planning projects.
- Prepare construction designs, drawings, and technical specifications, including design computations.
- Maintain and improve quality control standards, organizational processes, and manage project-related meetings.
- Build relationships and coordinate activities with subcontractors and in-house support staff.
- Skills and knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, and/or MicroStation and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detailed expertise in construction cost estimating
- Technical specification writing experience and task management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Four or more years of civil design experience and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of FAA Advisory Orders, Circulars, and Engineering Briefs is desirable.
- Working knowledge of DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) is preferred.
- Project Management such as scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
