Summary:Primary responsibilities include unloading, receiving, verifying, routing and storing inventory. Secondary responsibilities as saw operator to setup sawing equipment and prep material.Job Responsibilities:
Unload freight and receive all inbound product from raw material down to small packages including freight, UPS and Fedex deliveries
As product is received, verify packing slips to purchase orders; verify size and quantity of raw material using tape measures, calipers and micrometers
Verify contents of quantity and description of components, perform measurements, counts and inspection to ensure accuracy of received product
Interact with purchasing department when there are discrepancies, missing or incorrect certs or missing paperwork
Once product is verified, physically route material to proper location for storage or immediate use
Receive customer supplied materials; interact with responsible personnel, verify job numbers and route to proper location for use
Setup and operate metal sawing equipment; precision measurement and verification of all material issued to production
Shift changes may be required as business needs demand
Comply with all quality requirements while continually maintaining and improving the effectiveness of MacKay's quality management system
Implement daily practices of Lean such as 5S, continuous improvement, and contribute to ongoing process efficiency
Support and participate in department goals as well as company goals

Punctual attendance; at your work area at shift start

Job Requirements:
Forklift Certification preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
One year receiving experience preferred, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Knowledge of manufacturing processes is desirable
Intermediate computer navigation skills, proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word
ERP/MRP Software experience preferred
