Overview:We’re looking for a talented and driven Network Engineer to join our IT team and fill a key role. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Palo Alto and Cisco networking technologies, along with hands-on experience in VMware and Windows Server environments.Preferred location: Near our headquarters in London, KY — but we’re open to remote candidates who are the right fit! Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a Network Engineer role
  • Must be able to successfully pass background check and drug screen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance
  • US Citisenship required in order to gain appropriate clearance
  • Preferred: PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
  • Proficiency in Cisco networking (routing, switching, telecom)
  • Working knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Familiarity with security tools such as DUO, OPSWAT, Cisco Umbrella, and antivirus platforms
  • Understanding of data storage systems and virtual platforms
  • Strong communication, documentation, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and climb ladders.
  • Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, install, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls (Palo Alto)
  • Manage and support Cisco networking equipment and technologies
  • Administer and maintain server environments including Active Directory, patching, backups, and virtualization (VMware)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and server issu
  • Maintain detailed network documentation and support compliance with NIST 800, PCI, and HIPAA standards
  • Provide technical support for network and server systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient IT operations
