The LA facility has approximately 300 employees (and growing) and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. The Continuous Improvement Leader will lead and help drive a continuous improvement culture across a diverse manufacturing environment by utilizing lean mythologies and best practices to improve the Los Angeles plant High 5 metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (Productivity) and Inventory). The expected annual salary range for this role is $107812.53 - $158125.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for leading Rapid Improvement Events (RIE's) and Kaizen events throughout the facility, while driving all CIT (continuous improvement teams) activity and ensuring the site is performing in accordance with the EAG Continuous Improvement Vision. The Continuous Improvement Leader is part of a key role in the Continuous Improvement department who reports directly to the Manufacturing/CI Manager and will also supports the following key responsibilities: In this role you will: Actively participate in High Performance Work Team efforts including 8D and A3 corrective action teams, VSM activities, PFMEA teams, PROLaunch activities, etc. Engage the plant workforce and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Increase participation on lean activities and grow pipeline of LEAN tool certifications. Follow up on implementation plan with Operational Leaders to ensure proper execution. Assist in documenting manufacturing processes and modification of Standard work. Assist in the development of EHS processes and procedures. Conduct layered process audits, to include 5S and Standard Work audits throughout the facility. Lead the effort in training employees on various LEAN tools. Work on projects or other duties as assigned to support the Los Angeles CI journey. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 3+ years of experience supporting Continuous Improvement activities (i.e., Kaizen, RIE, Problem Solving, 5S, Standardized Work, Lean Six Sigma) in a manufacturing or operations environment Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
