Stimpson & Associates, P.C. is seeking an experienced and highly detail oriented individual to fill this important role on our team. A background in litigation is ideal for this role. The Paralegal works closely with the Managing Attorney and clients, acts as a liaison, creates written content, and assembles cases. They will be proactive, an exceptional communicator, highly organized, detail oriented, comfortable with new challenges, and can work independently and within a team. Additionally, the Paralegal will adhere to the strictest level of confidentiality.Compensation & Benefits: $48,000 - $58,000/annually - Full-timeCompany-paid training, work/life balance, paid time off, and generous paid holiday schedule.Education: Paralegal Studies degree or Paralegal Certificate from ABA approved program is required.Experience: Previous experience working in a law office with a focus on litigation is preferred.Other Requirements: Exceptional reading and writing skills, including grammar, punctuation, and ability to create written content. Fluent knowledge of Michigan Court Rules, laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process. Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of accuracy. Proficient at prioritizing and able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously with superior problem-solving and time-management skills. Adaptable to changing conditions, including adjusting priorities on the fly. Technologically savvy with excellent computer skills, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams), database programs, Internet, and various cloud-based systems.
