
Sr Specialist - Workday Integration Developer

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, BIRT, and RaaS reports.
- Gather and document integration requirements; design robust, scalable solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ensure integration solutions align with Workday best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both development and production environments.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing integrations.
- Review test cases, participate in QA efforts, and support user acceptance testing.
- Document technical designs, system flows, and deployment procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with HR support teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.
- Independently lead meetings, drive integration projects, and manage stakeholder communications with confidence and clarity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying Workday integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, BIRT, and RaaS.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
- Proficiency in web service technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
- Experience supporting the full integration lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Familiarity with Workday’s integration framework and best practices for optimizing data flows.
- Understanding of data security, compliance, and audit requirements in cloud-based environments.
- You are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking initiative and guiding efforts within a team setting.
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
