This position will work in partnership with one of our current exceptional SLP Team Members, who excels in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young children's communication and language development and will thrive in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities:
  • Assist the SLP in providing speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children in a school setting.
  • Implement therapy activities and interventions under the guidance and supervision of the lead SLP.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support the communication needs of children.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
