We’re seeking a Level 1 Field Service Engineer to join our growing team in Houston, with a primary focus on ultrasound and X-ray systems. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals looking to expand their career in medical imaging. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience across multiple diagnostic platforms.What You’ll Do
- Perform basic troubleshooting, installations, calibrations, and repairs on ultrasound and radiographic/X-ray equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance per OEM guidelines
- Use diagnostic software and hand tools to evaluate and restore system performance
- Partner with senior engineers to expand knowledge across imaging modalities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Travel locally and regionally to support healthcare clients in the field
- Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field – or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of experience servicing ultrasound and/or X-ray equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic aptitude
- Desire to grow into more advanced imaging systems over time
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally as needed
