- Duck House maintenance, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Work with and maintain the following equipment: ventilation controls, gas fired heaters, feed augers, fans, light and light manure equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and buildings.
- Safely operate machinery and work with live production areas to ensure equipment remains in service.
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricate and work from layouts.
- Listens for unusual sounds from equipment to detect malfunction and discusses equipment operation variations with maintenance team to diagnose problem.
- Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out in clean, legible, and accurate format, completed with required information.
- Follow all Biosecurity Practices.
- Report any damages to company property.
- Report any animal welfare related issues to management immediately.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
