The Pre-Implementation Analyst is responsible for preparing projects for the implementation process. These projects are for new clients and existing clients. The analyst engages directly with the client to ensure we have the information needed to proceed with the project. This is a fast-paced position requiring flexibility and the ability to easily accept and manage change. The analyst must have the ability to understand the client’s business requirements. The Analyst will work with our clients and the Implementation Managers to schedule projects.What does a successful Pre-Implementations Analyst do at Fiserv?
- The purpose of the Pre-Implementations Analyst job is to ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project scheduling. The Pre-Implementations Analyst will schedule, coordinate, and monitor projects. The Pre-Implementations Analyst will partner with key business stakeholders to ensure the scheduling process and kickoff of a project is successful. Projects can impact multiple business units and functional areas.
- Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project Scheduling within tight time frames.
- Exhibit proactive behavior by engaging in project planning activities, including but not limited to: Creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline/schedules; Identifying and communicating project dependencies and impacts; Putting mechanisms in place to ensure on-going control of the project (E.g., Work with scheduling, contacting clients to validate dates, setting dates & assigning resources in the system of record, reporting on project statuses, project initiation in the Appian Implementation Engine, kick off meetings, communication plan, risk management, issues Management, change control, etc.)
- Ensure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage project outcomes.
- Keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the project and aligned on expected Schedule.
- Knowledgeable about how the organizations work; know how to get things done through formal channels and the informal network. Understands the culture of organizations.
- Manage third party relationships involved in the overall implementation project to include scheduling activities and maintaining them.
- Communicate all changes to schedule on a timely basis.
- Education – bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a client facing role.
- Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries desired
- Experience in driving small – medium size projects within an organization.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, as well as project lifecycles.
- Experience with Clarity is a plus.
