Lockheed Martin provides services and creates the platforms, tradecraft and resources that are demonstrated to help our customers move faster, be safer, improve quality and contain costs for critical cyber missions.THE WORKThis role is located at the Lockheed Martin facility in Manassas, VA and is required to come on site 100%.Will be responsible for reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings/Blueprints, complex wiring diagrams, and sketches to verify manufactured hardware is compliant with the requirements for hardware. Inspect hardware to the specifications and make decisions as to the acceptance of hardware according to criteria. Responsible for properly filling out nonconformance reports (defects) inspection tags, and other inspection documents as required. Physical requirements of this position will require standing, sitting, walking, light lifting, and bending to perform the job. Interfaces with the on site customer representatives (Navy On-Site team and/or DCMA) through product sell-off/acceptance.Member of the Product Quality Team to help enforce compliance to process and procedures throughout production build to ensure conforming product is delivered to the customer.

-Experience, inspecting and/or building products (Mechanical and Electrical)
-Ability to receive and hold a secret level security clearance (Not required to start).Desired skillsDesired skills :
-Good communication skills
-IPC-610 and 620 or J-STD-001 certified
Experience with Solumina/Microsoft Office
-Experience in a manufacturing environment
-Experience presenting product to customer for inspection
