- Pay range: $122,025 - $178,970 yearly (commensurate with experience)
- Leads a team of Plant Operation Managers as well as being directly responsible for:
- Plant Operations
- Distribution
- Safety (Personal and Operational)
- Compliance
- Quality
- Oversees all production & distribution activities for plants as well as all distribution for internal shuttles throughout the markets
- Responsible for safety and compliance (internal Linde standards, FDA, Federal, State, & local regulations for the division)
- Manages Productivity, Lean & Six Sigma Initiatives
- Works directly with region Productivity management team
- Creates & manages operational plans that result in the accomplishment of Linde objectives
- Develop yearly plant management operational goals with interim and final operational performance, and manages performance against the goals
- Continues to utilize current US West Best Practices:
- Facilitate Weekly Plant Expense Management Review Calls
- Manage Regional Monthly Safety Trend Charts
- Manage and Distribute Monthly Plant KPI Actuals Chart
- Monthly Regional Vice President Operational Reporting
- Coordinate and facilitates activities and commitments with sales organization
- Ensures strategies are appropriately formulated and communication plans are provided
- Monitors trends, develops procedures, and takes actions that set precedents
- KPI Reporting
- Develop continuous process improvement projects with retail and plant operations teams
- Staff, train, coach, and administer performance reviews, and corrective action of subordinate employees
- Ensure direct staff is also staffing, training, coaching, administering performance reviews and corrective actions down through the operations organization
- Ensures compliance with all applicable internal and external standards
- Works with strategic independence, conferring with Region and Senior Management on more complex assignments
- Develops documented operational planning and goals
- Coordinate’s operations and project work with corporate functions including logistics, engineering, human resources, and finance
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- 5-10 years management experience
- Cylinder gas and Dry Ice operations experience required
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50%
