- Ability to learn new computer software applications.
- Ability to assess and treat patients to the US DOT and Wyoming Office of EMS, EMT- Paramedic level.

- Is knowledgeable of and works within all pertinent, established CRH and CRH EMS Policies, Procedures and Protocols.
- Provide leadership and direction for the EMS crew on duty.
- Provide problem solving for situations that require immediate solutions that affect the department’s operation, which may include but is not limited to, staffing on an emergency basis.
- Responsible for scheduling and staffing necessary for daily operations of the EMS department.
- Act at all times in a professional manner, and will be able to handle conflict situations with good judgment.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Documents a complete and accurate patient care in WATRS. All patient documentation must be completed the same day the call was performed by the end of shift. That includes all pertinent information, associated reports and logs.
- Responsible for the daily operation, inspection, and restocking of the ambulance and equipment.
- Respond in a timely manner to emergencies when on duty or on call.
- Treat patients, public and other healthcare providers and public safety personnel with respect and dignity.
- Attend and participate in all department trainings, run reviews, or assigned web based trainings.
- Maintain competency on all equipment within scope of practice
- Maintain a professional appearance of the approved uniform and dress code in accordance to the CRH EMS Uniform Policy.
- Performs station duties including cleaning, detailing, inventorying, and stocking all vehicles, supply cabinets, etc.
- Follow the EMS chain of command structure.
- Adheres to the EMS Culture statement and promotes a positive culture throughout the organization.
- Ability to safely operate an ambulance in non-emergency and emergency driving conditions.
- Enhance growth by obtaining ITLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor and BLS Instructor Certification.
- Assist students and observers with EMS operations.
- Must have a working knowledge of the geographic area, street systems, and demographics of CRH EMS coverage area. If available, but not required, respond as a First Responder in out of town service areas if near the emergency.
- Assist in community service events.
- Work on special projects as assigned by the EMS Department Director or Operations Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
- Respect the dignity, welfare, basic rights of all patients and employees.
- Maintain insurability for hospital motor vehicle coverage.
