Discover your potential.JOB DESCRIPTION:Position Title: Production Operator - AssemblyReports to: Production SupervisorPosition Summary:The Production Operator - Assembly will be responsible for building through-hole and surface mount printed circuit boards assemblies.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies and chassis, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation, and quality workmanship guidelines
  • Perform manual placement and hand solder through hole components per specifications
  • Prep circuit boards for stuff line and wave solder
  • Install electronic parts, apply solder mask, and apply solder tape to boards
  • Perform Electronic Data Entry work into computer system
  • Be responsible for crimping, soldering, auditing workmanship, reading drawings, and schematics
  • Be responsible for navigating through an inventory management system
  • Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
  • Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Previous printed circuit board assembly experience
  • Basic math skills to including; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multifunctional team environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
  • Basic soldering skills
  • Basic component identification skills
  • Organization Skills
  • Time Management
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
