As a Powersports Technician at Oasis Powersports, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued performance and reliability of our customers' motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other Powersports vehicles. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, you will utilize your expertise to diagnose issues, perform necessary repairs, and deliver exceptional service that exceeds our customers' expectations.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of Powersports vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including engine problems, brake malfunctions, and transmission issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed and provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Complete repairs and service orders in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Keep accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a certified Powersports Technician program.
  • Provide your own tools.
  • Proven experience as a Powersports Technician, with a strong understanding of motorcycle, ATV, and UTV mechanics.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, etc.).
  • Experience working with a variety of powersports brands and models.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures.
