DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide career assessment and employment development services to job seekers. Expand employment opportunities for job seekers. Assist job seekers in developing a career path and employment preservation strategy. Share in the collection of and make available participant data regarding client employment retention for the purposes of reporting, assessment and evaluation. Facilitate employment related workshops and counsel participants on employment retention strategies to address potential barriers to continuous employment. Share in the collaboration with other service providers, employers, educational/vocational programs to assist current clients and returning clients with continuing to reach their employment and educational goals. Must work at multiple program locations. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.HOURS:Full–time – 37.5 hours per week
  • Wed-Fri 7am-8:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:BA strongly preferred. Requires experience in career counseling, employment development and/or career counseling, vocational training, workshop development and facilitation. Ideal candidate will have a background in the fields of addiction, mental illness and working with the homeless. Must possess excellent writing and oral communication skills and computer proficiency required. Must be able to work in a high-stress, high-volume environment, while maintaining positive open communications with othercomponents of the treatment team. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
  • Vaccination preferred but not required.
