We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealths mission in the communities we serve. \As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.The role youll contribute:Conducts occupational therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.The value youll bring to the team:Implements a treatment plan of care established by an Occupational Therapist utilizing Practice Standards and recommended techniques, insurance guidelines and patients needs.Monitors patient response and progress to treatment and communicates with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plan as appropriateDocuments and Charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department /hospital policy and proceduresEducates patients, family members, and caregivers about identified needs and including discharge recommendationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:Minimum qualifications:High School Grad or EquivalentPreferred qualifications:
  • Pursuing Physical Therapy career path and education
