We recruit and retain civic-minded people who fit our family-oriented small business culture.Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting career opprtunity for an Advanced Architecture Analyst perform important work supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will define and evaluate Missile Defense System capability trade space envelopes, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
Responsibilities
  • Scope, execute, and document the results of Missile Defense System architecture trade studies as a member of the MDA Architecture Trades Group
  • Support the development of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and other systems engineering artifacts related to the Missile Defense System, as applicable
  • Support the development of alternative architecture concepts addressing projected capability gaps, real-world threats, and intelligence community threat estimates
  • Lead and coordinate the development of architecture requirements, development, and analysis in support of Service and Combatant Commands (CCMD) needs.
  • Lead, develop, and coordinate MDA vision and strategies to support the Warfighter, including coordinating with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, CCMDs,
  • Intel Community (IC), Other Governmental Agencies (OGA), national labs, Industry, and international partners
  • Support Architecture Trade Studies Division Chief in scoping and defining trade study methodologies, measures, and deliverables
  • Support activities of the Architecture Working Group; provide, develop, and deliver briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; provide comment and review to work products developed by other Working Group members
  • Coordinate future technology requirements across the breadth of MDA and with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, the IC, and OGAs.
  • Coordinate trade study-related activities and work products with teammates across the Architecture Design Directorate (MDA/CAD) and external MDA stakeholders as applicable
QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS
  • Master of Science or Master of Arts degree
  • The government will consider a BA/BS from an accredited institution of higher learning in a related field with 20+ years of experience instead of the MA/MS degree requirement
  • 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects
  • Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures
  • Have detailed knowledge of the Missile Defense System to include Command and Control networks
  • Be able to accomplish the duties by working with minimal guidance
  • Secret security clearance
PREFERRED SKILLS (desired but not required)
  • Knowledge of Hypersonic weapons and their capabilities and limitations
