Job Summary:Franklin Trust FCU is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Coordinator / Specialist to support our marketing initiatives aimed at growing membership, increasing product awareness, and enhancing member engagement. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives in a mission-driven, community-focused environment and is looking for flexible, part-time hours.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote credit union services (e.g., savings, loans, online banking).
  • Create and schedule content for social media platforms, email newsletters, and website updates.
  • Coordinate and support community events to promote Credit Union products and services.
  • Help generate ideas on ways to attract new members.
  • Support member communications and outreach, including branch signage, brochures, and educational materials.
  • Coordinate promotional events, community sponsorships, and financial education workshops.
  • Track marketing performance using member turn-out, participation and member engagement.
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., lending, member services) to support product launches and campaigns.
  • Assist with market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or currently pursuing).
  • 1–2 years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services or a member-based organization.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of credit union products and services.
  • Experience with community outreach or event coordination.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or website CMS (e.g., WordPress).
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other) is a plus.
