We believe in fostering an environment where everyone can thrive, learn, and grow.We stand out in the lawn & turf industry because:We always answer the phone, follow up, and respond promptly to our customers.Our professionalism is unmatched, whether we're working on residential or commercial projects.We approach challenges with respect and fairness, both for our team and our clients.We value quality, affordability, professionalism, and teamwork.What your day will look likeDuring the regular season, our hours are typically 7am to 5pmYou will be driving a company truck during work time, so you must have a valid driver’s licenseYou will be working outside in varying weather conditionsAt the end of the workday, you’ll load the equipment and materials that you’ll need to complete your work for the next dayYou will measure, mix and apply fertilizers to residential and commercial lawnsYou will treat weeds and perform applications based on provided program scheduleYou will be operating machinery for multiple types of applicationsYou will perform lawn analysis collection for third party testingYou will identify and diagnose lawn problems and make recommendations for correctionYou will fill out your time tracking accurately for each location you’re working via iPad using our softwareEach evening, you’ll perform basic cleaning & maintenance on your tools and stock up on supplies for the next morningWhen you see a customer onsite, you will check in with them to ensure they’re satisfied and answer their questionsYou’ll ensure customer satisfaction through professional workmanship & communicationExperienceWe’re flexible on the number of years of experience for this role! The only must-have requirements to be a Fertilizer Technician are:You are 18 years of age or older.You must have a valid Driver’s License.Must be able and willing to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.A positive attitude and a desire to work outside.Nice-to-haves: If you have the certifications or skills below, that’s a huge plus!Certified by the Indiana State Chemist as a Registered Fertilizer Technician with Core TestHold certification of a 3B category for Turf ManagementExperience managing or supervising others on the jobThank you for taking the time to read this career posting.
