In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Your main duties will include sorting and distributing mail to the appropriate recipients, coordinating shipping and receiving, and managing mail transfers to designated plants. You will also handle internal mail distribution and ensure timely delivery to various departments within the Cooperative.This role is part-time, onsite based out of our headquarter office in Lakeville, MA.A Day in the Life...
Sort mail and packages for all departments. Distribute incoming mail to designated departmental mail bins and deliver packages to addressee’s desk.
Mailings: printing letters, creating labels and stuffing envelopes – Grower Mailings (700+ mailings 2 to 3 times per month), Finance Mailings and Board Mailings.
Brings mail to the Middleboro Plant – multiple times per week.
Facilitate mailings of packages for various departments – fill boxes, create labels and package up for shipment.
Create voluminous amount of FedEx labels for all departments – including International.
Responsible for ordering and maintaining mailing supplies (various size envelopes) and all FedEx supplies.
Monitor and maintain adequate paper supply in departmental printer rooms.
Organizes pallets of goods received – notifies addressee once pallet has arrived.
Accountable to move supplies/samples/bottles from the Middleboro Plant/Ag Building and Corporate – examples are works with R&D to bring bottles from the plant to Corporate and water samples to GCO.
Forwards mail received in Corporate to the intended plants every two weeks.
Orders letterhead and envelopes for Corporate – including International.
Gathers, supports and delivers materials for off-site meetings including assembling Bog Tour packages.
Delivers mail to the post office if pick up has already occurred.
Updates and transfers funds for the postal accounts.
Coordinates pickups for DHL and UPS (as needed).
Assist the Facilities Supervisor with purchase order creation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Obtain required license to drive the dump truck – necessary for trips to the Plant.
Assists Facility Team with snow removal, grounds and building maintenance as needed.
