
Manufacturing Operator IV - Mixer

- Comply with the rules and regulations set forth in Amy's Kitchen Inc. handbook for employee, the safety manual and GMP booklet
- Take proper precautions and use all equipment safely
- Wear personal protective gear as assigned
- Notify the Line lead or Supervisor of any quality, safety, or mechanical problems
- Operate processing equipment as trainedMaintain a clean work area and perform hou
- sekeeping procedures as needed.
- Follow procedures according to the batch sheets or other approved document
- Inform team leader or supervisor of any deviations to the process
- Report any mechanical or potential mechanical problems with equipment to the maintenance department. Malfunctioning equipment must be removed from the production line and taken to the maintenance shop if practical; otherwise a notice should be placed on the equipment and the Production Supervisor informed
- Be punctual and have excellent attendance
- Understand quality standards for each product
- Understand formulas and procedures for prep work including but not limited to: dough mixing, potato mixing, blancher operations, cheese cutting, baking times, and other special cooking performed in production
- Ability to complete reports as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
- During peak season or base on company needs overtime is required
- Less than high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have at least 6 months of experience as heavy lifter and maintain a good record.
- Ability to read simple instructions in English and Spanish.
- Ability to complete simple forms.
- Ability to verbally communicate with supervisor.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
