
1099 Physician (MD/DO)

- Assist in conducting intakes. Physicians see patients after they have already undergone an extensive evaluation by the counselor.
- Monitor patients' clinical progress at regular group counseling sessions. Groups are run by specialized counseling staff; physicians participate by answering questions and managing patients’ medication dosing.
- Authorize patients' prescriptions during monthly visits with patient panels.
- Complete all notes and reporting in Groups EMR system within required timeline (providers receive full orientation/ training on Clinical Protocols before eligible to begin work with Groups)
- We utilize strict protocols to guide clinical decision-making. We have also developed a unique, technology-driven and team-based clinical system that handles all day-to-day patient management and regulatory compliance. This allows physicians to focus exclusively on medical management. Qualifications:
- Active, Unencumbered State License (MD/DO) in Washington
- Active, Individual DEA with address listed in Washington (please note that if you intend on prescribing in multiple states, a separate DEA is required in each state in which you are planning on prescribing).
- Minimum 1 year direct experience prescribing Buprenorphine required (with Proof of Completion of 8hr. Training as required by the DEA of previous DEAX designation).
- Board Certification in Addiction Medicine Preferred; other specialties welcome to apply with experience. Board certification is required.
