
Technology Service Desk Technician

- Provide Exceptional Support: Respond, triage, and dispatch technical support requests via calls, emails, and in-person.
- Monitor & Process Requests: Proactively handle onboarding and termination requests, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Enhance User Satisfaction: Deliver courteous and professional service, addressing computer-related issues, desktop systems, telephone equipment, and more.
- Support & Train: Offer fundamental training to end-users on computers, applications, and systems while supporting various devices including printers, POS equipment, and mobile tools.
- Manage Helpdesk: Oversee helpdesk ticketing system, email, and voicemail to ensure efficient ticket management and resolution.
- Document & Follow Up: Keep detailed records, follow up on long-term issues, and track compliance with Service Level standards.
- Special Projects: Take on special projects as assigned by the Technology Director and participate in club-related training.
- Educational Background: Associate degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent training and relevant work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software knowledge, Microsoft applications, basic networking, and personal computer operations.
- Customer Service: Strong service-oriented attitude with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Detail Orientation: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Capability to convey technical procedures in layman’s terms and provide proactive, effective solutions.
- Physical Requirements: Physical ability to operate telephone, computer hardware/software including keyboard, and 10-key, to type at a minimum of 40 wpm and to sit for extended periods of time, must be able to lift 40 pounds and perform computer set up work at employee desks.
