Business Support Analyst

- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely support.
- Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Engage with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance processes to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Provide training, documentation and support to end-users on new processes, tools, and systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and support.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline with two years of relevant work experience strongly preferred, but consideration may be given to an exceptional candidate with six years relevant work experience
- At least two years of relevant work experience required
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
- SQL experience for data analysis, validation and basic troubleshooting is desirable, but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate intricate business requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to resolve issues or complete special projects outside standard business hours.
- Demonstrated adaptability.
