Sales Director - Oracle Applications, Public Sector (NW)

- Sell ERP, HCM, CPM, Managed Services and other solutions and services directly into public sector accounts.
- Work to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within your assigned territory, selling into your territory directly or via the software partner ecosystem.
- Manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in Marketing, Pre-sales, and Delivery to uncover all customer needs.
- Work with Overlay sales representatives to pursue Managed Services and non-application technology solutions.
- Travel to customer sites to identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition.
- Give engaging customer presentations to all levels of leadership, including C-level.
- Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and maximizing sales.
- Preferred previous sales experience in Public Sector sales including (SLED), State and Local government, Indian Tribes and Casinos, Transit Authorities, K-12 Education and other public sector entities.
- Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, including any of the following: Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Performance Management or Business Intelligence.
- Experience selling professional services.
- Experience with Oracle applications a plus.
- Experience working with public sector customers and expanding a solution footprint by cross-selling.
- Proven experience finding accounts and growing current accounts.
- Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas
- Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
- Able to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision, yet participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed.
- Dynamic communicator, with excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Hands-on experience creating and presenting engaging customer presentations to all levels of leadership, including C-level.
