- Proactively engage potential Verizon Wireless customers in high-traffic areas and residential settings to promote products and services through sales consults
- Conduct personalized needs assessments to identify communication requirements and recommend tailored solutions
- Present and demonstrate Verizon Wireless offerings—including mobile devices, plans, accessories, and home internet services—with clarity and persuasiveness
- Resolve customer inquiries and objections with confidence and professionalism to drive successful sales outcomes
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM systems, ensuring compliance
- Stay up to date on Verizon Wireless product knowledge, promotions, and competitive offerings through continuous learning
- Collaborate effectively with teammates and sales leaders to achieve shared goals and contribute to a positive team culture
- Participate in training, coaching, and product launch initiatives to refine sales skills and adapt in a fast-paced industry
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework or a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a strong plus
- Applicants with up to 2 years of sales or customer service experience are welcome; training is provided for motivated entry-level candidates
- Exceptional verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively and persuasively with diverse individuals
- A highly self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with a competitive spirit and a proven desire to achieve sales goals
- A genuine passion for technology, particularly mobile devices and wireless solutions, and a strong desire to help customers find the right solutions
- Strong critical thinking skills to identify customer needs and tailor appropriate solutions quickly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment, handling objections and adapting to various customer personalities and situations with a positive attitude
- A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for working as part of a team to achieve shared success
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with tablets, smartphones, and learning new sales/CRM software for efficient order processing
