Job Title Business Development Manager, Partner GrowthJob DescriptionAxis is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, Partner Growth to join our growing Incubation Future Business team in the Americas. This role will require a high level of business acumen, channel growth program and management aptitude with a high competence for cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the SaaS industry, focused on the commercialization and monetization of services business models, in addition to strong leadership skills. This role will play a critical part in driving the future of our cloud platform services in addition to other incubation business initiatives.This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, collaboration, and execution. The role will be responsible for expanding Axis’ partner ecosystem, creating mutual value through integration and channel alliances, and delivering measurable growth.This role is based in our Chelmsford, MA office; remote consideration for the right candidate living proximate to an international airport and willing to perform job responsibilities during Eastern Time Zone business hours. The individual in the role will be expected to travel 50% including international.What you’ll do here as Business Development Manager, Partner Growth?Initiate, build & execute a concise and focused partner growth strategy within the Incubation Future Business organization.Align the execution of the growth program to both the Incubation Future Business go-to-market strategy and the evolution of our Technical Integration Partner programExpand Axis into the BI market, targeting Solution Developers, ISV’s and IT Systems Integrators.Implement a new route-to-market for Axis, aligned with the targeted partners and focused on Subscription Services rather than Hardware ProductsOwn the full partner lifecycle, from onboarding and enablement to performance tracking and growthOwn, lead, launch, and guide your developed program. This may include planning and guiding the recruiting of the Partner program team; once key success milestones are defined and achieved.Drive revenue growth by connecting partner outcomes with business goalsEstablish governance frameworks, incentive structures, and engagement programs that scaleProvide monthly reporting on strategic programs, initiatives, progress, KPIs and opportunities to managementParticipate in trade shows, as well as partner, end-customer and industry eventsWho are we looking for/Who are you?Comfort, flexibility, and resilience in working within incubation projects, new businesses, and new initiativesStrong Leadership skills, across both formal and virtual teams,Strategic thinker, analytical, detail-oriented, and results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skillsMotivated self-starter who is able to translate uncertainty and ambiguity into clear, precise plansProven ability to build trusted relationships at all levels internally and externallyExceptional communication, public speaking, presentation, training and listening skillsProject management skills with the proven ability to identify implementation roadblocks, process improvements, and other tactics to ensure timely delivery of business goalsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a virtual teamWe'd love to hear that you have/are:Bachelor’s degree in business or technically associated fieldMaster's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred15+ years in channel sales, business development, or program management, ideally in the SaaS or Software Developer industryMultiple years' experience developing business and business channelsExperience in creating a channel growth model is valuedTarget Salary:The approximate pay range for this role is $165-180K OTE (90% Base/10% Quarterly Commissions).
