1. Be a US Citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance
2. Have knowledge of receiving inspection techniques and methods, as well as purchase order requirements verification.
3. Have experience with the build process and inspection of simple to complex assemblies, in-process and final acceptance.
4. Be familiar with or have a working knowledge of industry standards including:
  • IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
  • IPC-A620 (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies)
  • IPC-J-STD-001(Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies)
5. Be self-directed and have a “Team First” mentality, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Desired skillsWhile not required, the following skills ae desirable
1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Current IPC-J-STD-001 Solder Inspector certification
3. Experience with the RMS SAP (Systems, Application, and Product in Data Processing) system.
