2nd Shift CNC Technician 3PM-11PM M-F
Job Responsibilities:Perform tasks related to the safe operation of a CNC machine in a fast-paced metal fabrication facilityUse production software systems to track products in the production processUse quality measuring tools to verify product conformity (i.e. micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, microscope, video measuring equipment, and CMM)Monitor process using quality tools to ensure conformance of products, including following work instructions, prints, and other documentsMaintain customer quality control records and chartsLearn process and product terminologyFollow scheduled maintenance plans for all equipmentExecute lockout/tag-out procedures as requiredFollow all safety rulesUnderstand and comply with applicable company policies (i.e. attendance, ethics, safety, etc.)Maintain records as required by QMSRead and interpret blueprints to plan setup and operation of machinesReport all maintenance problems to supervisor for prompt attentionReport any safety issues to supervisorWork with others as required in a team-based work environmentEnsure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintainedFollow daily production schedule to meet internal and external customer requirementsRequirements:High school diploma or general education (GED) preferredOne year of machining experience with exposure to CNC Swiss Screw machines and lathes strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret a detailed blueprint and can use measuring equipment independentlyAbility to execute the components of a setup sheetAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimalsAbility to use a calculator with trig functionsSelf-starter, able to work independentlyThis job requires standing on your feet 100% of the time.Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
