With an indirect sightline to revenue generation at Coastal, your team will set the example of being entrepreneurial, critical thinkers led by a servant leader and industry strategist.The contributions you can anticipate:As VP of Human Resources, you'll have the opportunity to develop and execute Coastal's human resources strategy in support of the overall strategic plan of the organization specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, performance management, benefits, compensation, and compliance. You will utilize your expertise to enhance recruiting efforts, design attractive benefits packages, and maintain market competitive compensation structures. Your leadership talents will guide performance and advancement and inspire employee engagement.To be successful in this role, you will:Develop and maintain an annual comprehensive HR operational plan outlining KPIs and objectives commensurate with Coastal's enterprise-wide strategic plan.Build compensation, recognition, and reward structures that encourage performance and contribution to our mission and maintain competitive pay practices for critical positions.Partner across the organization to incorporate KPIs into performance expectations at the individual, department and corporate levels.Design benefits programs that help attract and retain top talent; monitor the market for changes and potential new benefits as they emerge.Maintain expertise necessary to oversee self-insured health insurance program and advise the CEO on trends, underlying risks, and annual plan and pricing recommendations.Serve as Coastal's HIPAA Privacy Officer to our self-funded health insurance.Design company-wide protocols for recruiting new positions, interview techniques, offer and approval standards, and related documentation. Collaborate with training on a best-in-class onboarding experience.Set standards for job descriptions and titles that accurately represent the role to the organization.Ensures that all human resource functions, including record-keeping, interviewing, hiring, promotions, employee reviews, transfers, terminations, and exit interviews are conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies and applicable legal requirements.Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies across the organization while providing advice, interpretation, and consultation of policy.Participate in the budget-planning process with specific accountability for budgets in the HR area.Accomplish annual planned projects and provide support for related strategies set forth by the ELT.Interested?   • Compensation (including incentive programs and bonus structures)
  • Servant leadership
Financial institution experience preferred.Education:
  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development or related field. Master's degree and/or a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
