We are excited to have you as part of our team to help you start your professional growth and contribute to our success at Skyworks!The successful candidate will work with Test engineers to evaluate the design performance of RF products in an R&D environment, including: Power amplifiers, LNAs, filters, and switches. You will operate automated and manual test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power supplies.Co-op duration: January - June 2026Responsibilities
  • Operating automated or semi-automated Testers, data collection
  • Supporting test bench setup as required and performing calibration
  • Support a wide variety of critical activities as part of the Design Verification Test (DVT) scope, typically includes measurements such as: current, voltage, Frequency, and RF power.
  • Pre-screen of evaluation board build for early failure identification
  • Participate in building test setups, harnesses, and wiring
Required Experience and Skills
  • Must be currently enrolled in community college or technical school or equivalent
  • Must be able to complete 6 month Co-op term
  • Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact, Strong career interest in electronics and RF/microwave Engineering
  • Hands-on experience in a lab is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with operating Windows applications such as MS Word, Excel.
  • Good understanding of electronics circuits fundamentals: Voltage, resistance, current, AC & DC.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Desired Experience and Skills
  • Preferably has familiarity with amplifiers: Gain, Power, dB, dBm, and Watt.
  • Has an understanding in Radio Frequency concepts and measurements: Transmission lines, power, gain, frequency.
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
