- Check in and out drivers from the facility.
- Prepare shipping documents for warehouse personnel.
- Creates shipping documents and Bill of Ladings for outbound shipments.
- Create customs paperwork or commercial invoices for international shipments.
- Verify the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation and entering multiple systems.
- Assist in appointment scheduling and transportation planning activities as needed.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and visitors/drivers.
- Minimum of one year experience working in distribution center operations, transportation, inventory, or demand planning.
- High School Diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks, strong time management skills, perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience operating in a LEAN environment a plus.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated individual, and comfortable working in a team-based environment.
