Supports other technical specialists to advance knowledge in their capability area.What you will be doing:With this attractive opportunity you'll get a chance to:Interact with customers to understand technical requirements & resolve issuesProvide program management for individual part portfolioTroubleshoot manufacturing problems & root cause analysisDevelop new, and refine existing investment casting product to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing costsSupport manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of product through all operationsWork concurrently with customers to design components for castabilityMaintain customer relationships through joint resolution of issuesMaintain and improve casting scrap and reworkImprove casting profitability through cost reductionsAchieve cost reduction through process improvementsDevelop and refine manufacturing work instructionsDevelop casting processes for new and existing productsAssist in quotation of new productsAchieve cost targets for development and production castingsEstablish and achieve milestones for casting developmentGuide and mentor other Manufacturing Engineers in the above activitiesWho we're looking for:At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
