We are committed to delivering certainty of a job well done through every interaction—from consultation to project completion.Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Residential Sales Associate (RSA) to meet with homeowners, provide tailored painting project proposals, and guide customers through our sales process. This is a client-facing, consultative sales role ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, enjoys being active in the community, and is driven by results.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home and virtual customer consultations using CertaPro’s proven sales process
- Listen to customer needs and create detailed, customized proposals
- Consistently follow up with prospective clients via phone, email, or text until the job is won or declined
- Participate in local marketing efforts including door hangers, yard signs, home shows, and community events
- Maintain and update activities and customer details in our CRM system
- Prepare weekly reports and participate in goal-setting sessions and ongoing sales training
- Ensure smooth project handoffs by communicating scheduling needs to the production team
- Contact completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction and request referrals
- 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience (in-home sales or construction industry preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in technology (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, tablets)
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or Saturdays during peak seasons
