Overview:AVIAN (pronounced *a-v-yin*) is looking for an Assistant Program Manager Test and Evaluation (Senior) employee for the Naval Air Traffic Management Systems Program Office PMA-213 This individual will perform engineering, designing, and testing of systems and their related components. Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and/or Master Test Strategy development/updates
  • Tracking funding for CVN/LH PALS Certifications
  • T&E Resourcing/Spend Plans, coordinating with Lead Test Engineers, IPT Leads, NAVAIR and NAWC Business and Financial Mangers (BFM)
  • Support development and review of technical requirements for test planning and reporting efforts.
  • Knowledge of NAVAIR test and evaluation roles/responsibilities
  • Ability to provide schedule development, resource management,knowledge of iSUITE set of tools
  • Ship and NAVSEA Program Office coordination for test evens
  • Request Fleet RDT&E Assets via quarterly request or via a Fleet Support Request
  • ECP writing and review
  • T&E WIPT Leadership
  • Interface with external organizations
  • Participate in program technical reviews, Deficiency Reviews, System Verifications Review and others as necessary
  • Support technical studies, analyses, and planning to refine test verification methods and approaches
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
  • 10 plus years of experience
  • A Master's Degree may be substituted for 2 years of work experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Department of Defense security clearance.
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • The salary range for this role is $140,000-$180,000(The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
