Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four (4) years of clerical accounting or booking experience, including two years of experience in a supervisory and administrative capacity, or at the lead/specialist level in a county clerical classification. - Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (min 5 years' experience) in the public sector
- Expert knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Oracle and ability to easily learn new technologies
- Understanding of budget management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory or team lead experience in an accounting environment.
