Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position, including Vermont and national criminal record checks, adult and child abuse registry checks, the Office of Inspector General exclusion database, and motor vehicle driving record checks where applicable.Environmental FactorsOn an assigned basis, may perform of any of the following duties or act as a lead worker: Receives, unpacks, checks and records the receipt of requisitions and issues stock as well as taking physical inventory. May sort incoming and interdepartmental mail and delivers it to proper addresses. Performs clerical duties incidental to work assignment. May work in the laundry operating all associated equipment as well as transporting laundry. May assist in helping residents move around the facility including recreation and dining areas. May assist cooks in the preparation and serving of meals as well as maintaining kitchen and dining facilities. May perform a variety of custodial duties.
