
Dental Lab Technician III - CAD/CAM Design

- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Design dental frameworks/restorations that provide the patient with the proper function and aesthetics.
- Nest and Mill all Cad/Cam products
- Maintain and operate the mills
- Design implant abutments
- It is the dental technician’s job to insure all steps are followed, in order, to insure consistent, accurate results.
- Verify the scan is correct and materials have been entered in correctly.
- Adjust settings accordingly to product types.
- Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information.
- Keep cases organized so that everyone on the milling projects can work as a team.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must have basic computer skills
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of Dental Laboratory CAD/CAM experience
- Required: Proficient in executing all levels of CAD/CAM design cases without assistance.
- Demonstrates ability to handle complex design cases independently.
- Cross-trained in multiple tasks and functions across the department and operates self-sufficiently.
- Computer
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
- Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellEducation : High School or Equivalent
