- Elevate Clinical Practice:Assess, research, coordinate, and evaluate educational and professional development programs, services, and systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our Emergency Department nurses.
- Be a Role Model and Mentor:Serve as a role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader, inspiring and guiding nurses to achieve their full potential.
- Drive Innovation:Actively seek out and implement evidence-based practices, contributing to clinical excellence and innovation in emergency nursing education.
- Champion Quality Improvement:Provide clinical expertise and leadership to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- Facilitate Seamless Transitions:Coordinate and facilitate nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development through support of central onboarding, clinical orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor and mentor programs.
- Develop Cutting-Edge Resources:Contribute to the development and maintenance of innovative educational tools and resources, integrating adult learning theories, organizational development principles, and a systems approach.
- Shape the Future of Emergency Nursing:Play a vital role in shaping the future of emergency nursing by empowering nurses with the knowledge, skills, and competencies they need to excel.
- Influence System-Wide Initiatives:Serve as a consultant for organizational, divisional, and system initiatives and program development related to nursing practice.

- BSN required. Master's Degree in Nursing or completion of MSN program within 5 years of start date.
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
- Basic life support is required upon hire through the American Heart Association.
- Nursing education experience demonstrating progressive experience in the development and implementation of clinical education programs.
- Minimum three years relevant nursing experience.
