Your task would be to develop and establish state-of-the-art modeling techniques and procedures. You will also work with the Design, Technology and Product engineering to support advanced technology and product development projects.   • Convert process specifications into practical test circuit structures to characterize various material properties.
  • Match test circuit modeled and measured results to recover parameters of interest.
  • Analyze product test results and provide feedback to Design to improve prediction accuracy.
  • Work cross-functionally from the initial phase of technology development to product development.
  • Provide support to designers by troubleshooting EM modeling and simulation software issues.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Masters degree in physics or engineering.
  • 5+ years of component-level RF design/simulation.
  • High proficiency in Electromagnetic FEM analysis (HFSS preferred)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills. Collaborative problem solver.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good group communication skills, able to express concepts with concise and effective visual aids.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with acoustic RF filter design at die and package level.
  • Extensive experience with HFSS (MCAD and ECAD basis).
  • Experience characterizing RF material properties.
  • Track record of simulation accuracy.
  • Programming experience with MATLAB, Python, or LabView.
  • Experience with Front End Module, acoustic device, and/or fine feature PCB processing.
Travel
  • Domestic travel between California offices is required.

Long DescriptionMinimum Salary: $105,000Maximum Salary: $175,000We consider various factors in determining actual pay, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
