- Convert process specifications into practical test circuit structures to characterize various material properties.
- Match test circuit modeled and measured results to recover parameters of interest.
- Analyze product test results and provide feedback to Design to improve prediction accuracy.
- Work cross-functionally from the initial phase of technology development to product development.
- Provide support to designers by troubleshooting EM modeling and simulation software issues.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Masters degree in physics or engineering.
- 5+ years of component-level RF design/simulation.
- High proficiency in Electromagnetic FEM analysis (HFSS preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills. Collaborative problem solver.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good group communication skills, able to express concepts with concise and effective visual aids.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
- Experience with acoustic RF filter design at die and package level.
- Extensive experience with HFSS (MCAD and ECAD basis).
- Experience characterizing RF material properties.
- Track record of simulation accuracy.
- Programming experience with MATLAB, Python, or LabView.
- Experience with Front End Module, acoustic device, and/or fine feature PCB processing.
- Domestic travel between California offices is required.
